 Installation Precautions

I. Pre-installation Preparations

Check and count the corresponding product accessories to ensure they are complete. Directly supply 12V power to the main control box to test lighting accessories such as LED strips. Check whether there are any color deficiencies or breakpoints in the three basic colors: red, green, and yellow. Proceed with the installation only after confirming there are no issues. Do not bend the strips violently before installation. Also, note that if problems occur after test installation, the strips will not be covered by the warranty.

II. Installation Process Specifications

Pay attention to the following key points during the installation process: Remove decorative plates and other components to prevent scratching the dashboard or the car’s interior. Timely clean up any wire skins or other debris left behind after wiring, and do not leave them in the car. The wiring inside the vehicle must be well insulated and fixed to avoid short circuits and other malfunctions. Ensure that the wiring does not interfere with the moving control parts of the vehicle, such as the steering wheel shaft, accelerator pedal, and pedals. Be sure to install the wiring harness and control box when the vehicle is turned off to prevent damage to the machine or other accessories due to hot – plugging. The light strips can be cut. If the color at the tail is inconsistent or the entire strip is not color – synchronized, you can continue to trim about 2 millimeters. The installation positions of lamps (contour light bars, handles, locker boxes, footwell lamps, etc.) should be determined according to the actual situation. The installation positions described in this document are for reference only.

Run the wires to the four footwell lights to secure them in place

 Sub-Control Box Installation

1.  remove the door frame decorative strip and lock door screws, unplug the socket in the door frame, take down the door frame

2. the outline of the light bar from the door frame through the door, installed into the door gap, according to the door gap construction, to avoid violent extrusion, pressure burst lamp beads

Maintenance and Care for LED Headlights

1.Proper maintenance helps extend the lifespan and performance of your LED headlights.

2.Handle lights and storage box lights need to open the installation, handles light opening position is generally up the hole, the location should be hidden from the light, the storage box can also be up the hole or the side of the back to the front of the open hole

3. Find the normal power 12V (or ACC12V), connect the power +12V of the sub control box harness here; find the ground wire, connect the “power ground (GND)” of the sub control box harness here;

Note: The four doors should be unified, i.e., the four doors should take the “normal 12V” or the four doors should take the “ACC12V”. Note: The power supply of four doors should be unified, i.e. four doors take “normal power 12V” or four doors take “ACC12V”.

 Optional speaker installation

1. Find the door speaker position to align the position, (prohibited to stick on the speaker to avoid rattling).

2. Find the position with hot melt glue fixed

3:1 minute 2 wire connected to the 1 area, the speaker ring and the door LED strip connected to the 1 minute 2 line

Common Problems and Solutions

We have more or less encountered problems inside the installation of ambient lighting, the following are those problems and solutions.

1. Main Box Light Not On

  • Issue Causes:
    1. Power supply wire unconnected or incorrectly connected (requires 12V strong power).
    1. Poor chassis ground connection.
    1. Unplugged lamp head or damaged light fixture.
  • Solutions:
    1. Verify 12V power supply; measure voltage between PIN1 (GND) and PIN2 (Power) for 9–16V.
    1. Switch from chassis ground to wired ground.
    1. Plug in the lamp head connector or replace the light fixture.

2. Secondary Box Light Not On

  • Issue Causes:
    1. Faulty power supply connection (needs 12V strong power).
    1. Inadequate chassis ground.
    1. Unplugged lamp head or damaged fixture.
    1. Failed automatic pairing (secondary box not paired).
  • Solutions:
    1. Check for proper 12V power supply using voltage measurement.
